National Celebration in Honour of St. Oliver

Drogheda - Sunday 3rd July 2022

The annual celebration will resume this year after a 2 year gap due to COVID-19. The celebration will commence at 3pm with the procession of a first class Relic of St. Oliver from Holy Family Church, Drogheda, south of the River Boyne and proceed 3km to the National Shrine of St. Oliver in St. Peter’s Church, West Street. Holy Mass will commence at 4pm. Celebrant: Bishop Michael Router; Homilist: Canon Benny Fee, PP, Clonoe, Co. Tyrone, who has written a number of publications relating to St. Oliver.
